Xi’An health school was founded in 1950 early, was located in Southern Culture Region of Xi’An where the number 463 in the east friendship road. The school occupies an area of 68 mu and was separated in south and north part which the teaching area by occupies an area of 50 mu, or 22,504 square meters. The school has good place and grace　ful environment, so she is the place of teaching and education.
　　The school has 43 standard classrooms, 18 laboratory of elementary courses and specialized course, and advanced laboratory of digital micro-projection, and visual-language rooms, computer rooms, multimedia rooms, electrical reading rooms, school web system, closed circuit TV, dining room and etc. She also a library building stored 80,000 books.
　　A strong quality teachers’ line the school owned, in 156 person now the 92 as the special teachers who the 84 get on the undergraduate in the total 91.3%, and who the 35 in senior professional job title, the 39 in middle rank. The school possesses Clinical Laboratory, Clinical Nursing, Internal Medicine, Surgical Department, and etc. in 21 teaching and research groups and 14 manage departments. Now, the school has opened 6 specialized subject which English Nursing, Medical Test, Nursing, Midwife, Pharmacy, Community Medicine, and 4 run school ranks which junior college, technical secondary school, TV college and long distance education. The school students total at 3431 in the 2003, the highest from founded the school.

The school also builds the practice places of the English Nursing specialty in Beijing and ShenZhen.
The school has sent 30,000 students who senior nurses to different ranks of medical treatment organs of Xi’An city and ShanXi province from the school was founded in 1953. The school pay more attention at the teaching quality and always build by the law and moral training, so she has awarded National Health Civilization Diathesis Educated Unit by Public Health Ministry and she’s teaching level was apprised the grad A in 1994 by Province Education Commission, and also was apprised State-Grade Middle Special School in April 2000. In 2003 our school again passed re-approved of State-Grade Middle Special School and awarded National Health Civilization Diathesis Educated Unit of the city-grade.
